Poozle
The skill based job search platform with quality jobs and easier applications
Context
For 9 months I spent some time every week working for Poozle, a mobile app that aims to make job searching easy and fun by pre-screening candidates and building a one-swipe application process.
At Poozle there was a team of 4 designers including me, and the company had around 20 people working part-time. I designed screens, contributed to the design system, and came up with feature improvements and adds. Overall it was a great experience.
Poozle's website can be viewed here and v1 is available in the App Store for iOS.

Job searching can mean endless applications and repetitive forms. Mass applying for jobs is tiring, frustrating, and rarely works. After experiencing how difficult the job application process can be, one of the founders built Poozle to address this pain point.
How can we design a way for applicants to spend less time and effort applying for jobs?
With Poozle,
Apply for jobs with 1 swipe
Candidates are pre-qualified so applicant pools are small and targeted
Get matched with jobs that align with your skills
Job applicants fill out 1 application.
Employers upload jobs and review applicants.
As a Product Designer, I worked on a variety of design related tasks.
At Poozle I helped design many of the app's pages, like the job seeker profile. There wasn't one specific user flow or area I was focused on; I was able to work on almost all of the corners of the product.

Hifi mockups of these same pages
I also brainstormed ideas for microanimations.
Delete an archived job
Withdraw application from job

I worked on various other screens.

I also contributed to two versions of the design system and updated many components to the newest design system.
Reflections on my time at Poozle
Overall, I had a great time at Poozle and learned a lot. The team comprised of a medley of people from students to early-career to mid-career folks, and I was able to learn alongside experienced designers, engineers, and founders.
